Krewe du Vieux prematurely blows its wad

Senator David Vitter’s whoring family values achieved a climax at this year’s Krewe du Vieux.
But given that there’s an entire year of anticipation, planning, expressed desires, and manifest urges, I just wish that Krewe du Vieux floats wouldn’t blow their entire wad of creativity in a 5-second rush leaving viewers wondering what happened.
For what it’s worth, here are the photos I was able to get off. The best throw was Le Monde de Merde (pdf), a periodical which can be downloaded from the Krewe du Vieux site.

That is easily the best Krewe around since the 2000s began…I so miss not being there for this!
